My name is Natalie. I am 25 years old and the mother of a very energetic, very sassy little girl.
My favorite things to do are writing and reading (when I have the time). I write all kind of things. Actually, I don't. It's mostly sci-fi and horror, with a little FanFiction thrown in there.
It's not that I'm opposed to writing something happy. I'm not. It's just that every time I start writing, I get lost in what I'm doing and nothing turns out the way I planned. But, that's how writing is supposed to be, isn't it?
I have been published before, but those were just poems and I was a teenager. I don't really count them, but they matter here, I guess.
Anyway, get back to browsing the site content little bunnies.
ABOUT D.A. DAUGHERTY
Hello, there. I am D.A. Daugherty, and I hate writing about myself, although my wonderful sister Natalie is very insistent.
I was the sort of kid who kept getting caught reading by the light of the streetlights after bedtime, and I've just loved stories ever since. I'm mostly a lover (and writer) of science fiction and fantasy of every flavor. I'm also very interested in all sorts of folklore-- an interest that spawned The Evit Merriman Accounts.
I am mostly a novelist, currently not published. My first novel, The Gunman's Ride is in the process of being published.
