The One Who Rides (Poem)
Updated: Nov 11, 2019
Where he go, out on his way? Does he flee from the sun? From the light does he run? The one who rides will not say Is there a place he calls his home? Perhaps there was a loving wife? Or a peaceful place to build a life? The one who rides will only roam Why do his eyes forever weep? Is it from a heart turned stone? Are they tears from one alone? The one who rides will never sleep Does he ride straight to Hell? Or is he cursed to ride forever Moving always, resting never? The one who rides can never tell
