Long Road Ahead

"All around them, the desert stretched out until if fell over the edge of the horizon. The road looked like it would do the same if they kept driving, but not matter how long they drove, the view never changed. The horizon got no closer. They were headed to" something they couldn't remember.


They couldn't tell if it had been minutes or hours. They didn't know what day it was. They didn't know anything anymore except that something was very wrong. They knew they couldn't turn back and they knew there was nothing ahead, but they knew something was coming for them and the gas tank was running low.
